IAGB team member recognised for broking excellence

The team at IAGB are very proud to share that one of our rising stars has been named as a finalist for the 2017 National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) QLD Young Professional Broker of the Year Award.

IAGB Account Executive & Strata Team Manager Kimberley Lundberg was recently short-listed from a high quality field of nominees across Queensland. Along with two other finalists, Kimberley remains in the running for this prestigious annual insurance award recognising the future leaders of the insurance broking industry.

For the IAGB team, it’s well-deserved recognition for a fantastic person and valued team member who consistently delivers great customer service, makes the workplace fun, is passionate about what she does and develops great relationships with customers, peers and insurers alike.

To be eligible for the award, Kimberley had to demonstrate that she was:

  1. An inspirational role model for the broking community
  2. Delivering excellence in broking; and
  3. Making a significant contribution to the broking community

Kimberley received glowing letters of recommendation in support of her award.

Strata Unit Underwriters Regional Sales Manager Ben Anglin said that in his experience, “Kimberley demonstrates a high level of both enthusiasm and passion to achieve the best possible outcomes for her client.”

“Having had the pleasure of working with Kimberley, I have no hesitation in recommending her for the NIBA Young Professional of the Year.”

CHU Queensland State Manager Kimberley Jonsson said “Kimberley is regularly called upon to work with developers and is entrusted with managing the insurance for some of the largest and most complex Body Corporate schemes in Queensland.”

“It is with this in mind that I recommend Kimberley as a worthy nominee for the Queensland NIBA Young Professional of the Year.”

We wish Kimberley all the very best for the awards but regardless of the outcome, feel very proud to call her a friend and colleague. Congratulations from us all Kim!

The QLD winner will be announced on 19th July at the NIBA (QLD) gala lunch. State winners are then nominated for the national NIBA awards and an overall winner will be announced at the 2017 NIBA Convention in Sydney on the 10-12 September.
