By now you would’ve most likely seen or heard about our exceptional authorised representative (AR) network. They feature prominently in all our literature and social channels, but who are they? Why do we have them? And how do they differ from our internal staff?
Insurance Aid General Brokers has 7 authorised representatives that run their own, separate business’s using the IAGB financial service licence. Like any business owner they control their own destiny and make their own decisions as far as running their company is concerned. Whilst being under the regulatory compliance framework and strict professional development guidelines that IAGB’s own staff must comply with. In return, each AR sacrifices a percentage of their income to IAGB for the privilege of using this financial services licence and the support of the administration team at IAGB. Think of it as a sub-contractor to head contractor relationship.
Well let’s start by introducing them all.
West Insurance Brokers – Bryan & Alana West. Operating from their home offices in Capella & Woodbury and servicing Central Queensland. West insurance offers all classes of insurance. Now why does IAGB have AR’s?
Insurance is a very big field, and Queensland is a very big state. These 2 factors make it impossible to:
- a) be an expert in every possible field of general insurance; and
- b) physically service such a customer base with such a geographical spread.
IAGB can fill these service and knowledge gaps by partnering with specialists in their fields as well as providing local and regional representation. This works as a win for both the AR, IAGB and its customers.
So, contact IAGB or one of our Authorised Representative for ALL your insurance needs. As you can see, we have you covered with specialised and dedicated service from the bush to the sea and everything in between.
